KSrelief Clinics Treat Over 23,000 Patients in Zaatari Refugee Camp During Q1 2024


Amman, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics in the Zaatari refugee camp for Syrians in Jordan provided critical medical services to over 23,000 patients during the first quarter of 2024.

This comprehensive care addressed a wide range of needs, from general medicine (8,873 patients) and internal medicine consultations (1,876 patients) to specialized care for pediatrics (8,363 children), women’s health (2,566 patients receiving examinations and medication), ear, nose, and throat concerns (1,233 patients), ophthalmology (622 patients), and cardiology (164 patients). The emergency department handled 2,219 cases, while the dental clinic served 2,230 patients. Additionally, KSrelief facilitated laboratory analyses for 1,478 patients, conducted X-rays for 1,547 individuals, and provided vaccinations to 149. Educational sessions on health topics reached 829 beneficiaries, and the pharmacy dispensed a total of 24,255 prescriptions. These figures demonstrate the substantial contributi
on of KSrelief in ensuring the well-being of Syrian refugees in Jordan.
