KSrelief Supports 284,400 Flood-Affected Individuals in Afghanistan in 2023


Kabul, The values of giving, compassion, extending a helping hand, and assisting those in need have been deeply ingrained in the noble history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi charitable and humanitarian work has become a global beacon, an exemplary model that others strive to emulate. Thus, the Kingdom has emerged as a leader in this field on the international stage, thanks to its significant humanitarian and relief efforts that have reached every corner of the earth.

In this regard, Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), implemented an emergency food aid project for the flood-affected and needy families in Afghanistan, in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Throughout 2023, the KSrelief distributed 47,400 food baskets in the provinces of Kabul, Logar, Laghman, Nuristan, Badakhshan, Nimruz, Ghor, Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Khost, and Herat.

A total of 284,400 individuals, constituting 47,
400 families, benefited from this assistance.

This initiative is part of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through the KSrelief, aimed at assisting people in need around the world.
