KSrelief Wraps Up its 25th Volunteer Training Program at Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan


Amman, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded on Monday its 25th volunteer training program at Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan.

The program took place from April 27 to May 4, 2024, and involved 23 volunteers who provided assistance to over 900 Syrian refugees.

Conducted in collaboration with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), the program offered training courses in various fields, such as tablet and mobile phone maintenance, sewing and embroidery, ceramics, pottery, and carpentry. It also included English language courses, interactive science courses (chemistry/physics), and activities to enhance children’s creative and social skills.

Furthermore, the program provided medical services at the camp’s clinics, in fields like ophthalmology, dermatology, diabetic foot care, and physical and occupational therapy.

Workshops for wheelchair maintenance, repair, and medical equipment were also held.

This program
was part of KSrelief’s volunteer initiatives highlighting the importance of volunteer work.
