The mobile medical clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) have continued providing treatment services and humanitarian projects to displaced people and host communities in Yemen’s Hajjah Governorate from February 11 to June 30, 2024.
The mobile clinics have contributed to delivering essential healthcare services to beneficiaries and easing the burden of travelling long distances to access health centres.
The project consists of four mobile clinics operating in areas such as Waalan, Bani Hasan, Al-Deer, and Al-Ghurza. Each clinic provides a range of basic healthcare services, including medical consultations, minor surgeries, and free medication administered by general physicians, physician assistants, and nurses.
Under the project, medicines and medical supplies have been provided to meet beneficiaries’ healthcare needs, benefiting 20,278 individuals. Consultations have provided care for all age groups and genders, benefiting 19,728 individuals, and emergency treatment and
surgical services benefiting 550 individuals.
Furthermore, health education sessions were conducted, benefiting 752 individuals, focusing on the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles to maintain health and prevent diseases.
This assistance comes within the projects and programs the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia implements by KSrelief to improve the healthcare sector across Yemen.
