KUNA media development center holds training program on AI journalism

The KUNA Center for the Development of Media Skills started Sunday a training program entitled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Journalism,” dealing with metaverse journalism and its modern tech.

The program, which is presented by the CEO of UAE Artificial Intelligence Journalism for Research and Forecasting (AIJRF) Dr. Mohammad Abdelzaher is concerned with discussing metaverse journalism techniques, ways to benefit from AI, answering many questions in connection to it, and providing ideas and solutions to several challenges facing the media and related to the concept of future media.

In the training program, Dr. Abdelzaher discusses the extent to which AI is linked to many complex developments in this sector, and he believes that presenting them through sessions, workshops, and training programs is a vital matter that will benefit all journalists and media workers.

Several employees from KUNA, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA0 will participate in the aforementioned training program, which will last until May four.

In the world of journalism, technology have appeared in the production of press materials such as news, economic analyses, news stories, etc., using AI, programs and technologies that extract huge data from the digital archives, then edit and audit them, and even direct the content automatically to a specific audience.

AI journalism represents a new media revolution that is fully compatible with the modern technologies of the information and industrial revolution, and it is in great growth in the world of journalism and media.

This center is concerned with increasing the skills of professional journalistic work, improving media content, and bringing theory and practice closer in the field of writing media materials
