Provinces, SANA- A number of ladies have benefited from the local environment to start their small and inexpensive home projects, relaying on their hobbies and skills to develop them to become successful productive projects which help them to earn their livelihood.

 

Lamia al-Abdullah, a woman from al-Hawash in Homs countryside, has invested her hobby in making all kinds of sweets to become a successful project.

 

Al-Abdullah told SANA that she participated for the first time in one of the Bazars held in her city with a group of delicious kinds of sweets as her home-made sweets evoked the admiration of the visitors of the Bazar, which encouraged her to move forwards with her job and to expand it.

 

She indicated that despite Coronavirus crisis, its work was not affected because she is working on preparing sweets and food for occasions and upon request.

 

For her part, Mrs. Rola Ahmed Salman has exploited the nature and various kinds of herbs to get oil from them and use it in making medicinal soaps and cosmetic materials.

 

Salman indicated that she allocated a room in her house to practice her beloved hobby, pointing out that the success of her work prompted her to work on expanding her project and opening her own workshop.
