Lattakia: As a part of his tour to al-Haffa area Tuesday, Lattakia Governor, Mohammad Othman, visited Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi Citadel.

According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the governor inspected the parts damaged by the earthquake that hit the area last year and directed engineering staff to restore it. He was also briefed on the history of the citadel, its cultural and historical value, and the potential to benefit from these sites as a tourist destination.
