“Made in Syria,” Exhibition in Baghdad witnesses remarkable turnout

The second edition of “Made in Syria” exhibition for direct sale, which kicked off on December 25th on Baghdad International Fairgrounds witnessed a remarkable turnout of Iraqi consumers, traders and industrialists.

One hundred and seventy Syrian traders and industrialists are participating in the exhibition, which is held under the supervision of the regional office of the Arab Exporters Union, and more than 100 companies display hundreds of textile, health, food, electrical and cosmetic industrial types.

The Syrian Ambassador to Iraq, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, said in a statement to SANA correspondent that the exhibition is Very important to develop and improve economic, commercial, investment and industrial cooperation between Syria and Iraq, adding that it represents a qualitative leap in promoting the local product within the Iraqi markets, which is one of the most important markets for Syrian goods.

Head the regional office of the Arab Exporters Federation, Mohammad al-Sawah, affirmed that the exhibition is an important step to meet the needs of the Iraqi consumer who like Syrian goods, pointing out that it comes within several steps to provide Syrian products in the Iraqi markets as one of the widest windows to promote them, particularly, with quality and durability that characterizes the Syrian industry.
