Interior Minister, Nohad Mashnouq, met, on his third day in London, with his British counterpart, Theresa May, who voiced readiness to bolster bilateral cooperation on the security level, “in order to entrench home stability and fight terrorism and extremism.”

May also conveyed to Mashnouq her government’s appreciation for the efforts Lebanon was exerting to fight terrorism, in addition to the aids provided for the Syrian refugees.

On the sidelines of his state visit, Mashnouq met with former Deputy Prime Minister, Issam Fares, over the current general in Lebanon and latest regional developments.
