Manga Productions Partners with STC Play to Release Game Inspired by Saudi Anime Series ‘Asateer – Future’s Folktales’

Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), launched the game “Asateer – Future’s Folktales’ in collaboration with STC Play, the gaming and Esports division of STC Group, to release the game in the Middle East and North Africa, while Manga Productions will release the game worldwide. The game will also be available to players on the App Store, Google Play Store, and App Gallery.

Talented Saudis contributed to the game’s development, inspired by the Saudi anime series “Future’s Folktales”. The story is based on tales inspired by the Arabian Peninsula and includes many characters and five unique worlds, including “Futuristic Riyadh”.

The game is available on mobile phones and fully supports Arabic, English, and Japanese. It includes daily challenges and exciting conversations with the characters in a fun and easy-to-understand style, which prompted many to download it in the beta launch stage. The number of downloads exceeded 278,000 worldwide.
