Damascus, SANA- Minister of Public Works and Housing, Suhail Abdullatif, discussed with the directors of companies, construction institutions and affiliated unions to accelerate the work of the teams formed to examine the affected buildings and complete the collection of the necessary data to build an integrated base that can be constantly updated displaying the size and nature of the damage.

Abdullatif stressed the need for immediate treatment based on the results of the evaluation of the committees.

He pointed out to the need to prepare a map of spatial damage of the earthquake-affected areas at the regional level and to download these sites on the National Housing Corporation Map with the technology of GIS and submit a report on the status of these areas by the Regional Planning Authority and the Engineering Studies Company.
