Around 220,000 people have visited the Egyptian pavilion in Expo Dubai 2020 so far, Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamea said in a statement.

The minister attributed the high turnout at the Egyptian pavilion to its unique contents that offer a miniature version of Egypt with all its details, natural, touristic, industrial, architectural and historical components, in an interesting and short trip that does not exceed half an hour.

As of November, the Egyptian pavilion has received many official visits and tours of high-level and public figures from various countries, including Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Cypriot Tourism Minister Savvas Perdios, former secretary-general of the Arab League Amr Mousa, a delegation of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, and a delegation of CNN International, she added.

Expo Dubai was originally scheduled from October 20, 2020, to April 10, 2021, however, in response to the pandemic outbreak, it was rescheduled to go from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022.
