Damascus: Minister of Information, Dr. Hamza Mustafa, and Minister of Administrative Development, Mr. Mohammad Hassan Skaf, engaged in discussions on Wednesday focused on enhancing administrative development and restructuring media institutions within the Ministry of Information.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the discussions aimed to explore strategies for improving the management and efficiency of media institutions. In a separate meeting, Dr. Mustafa also engaged with a delegation from the Journalists Union to address various issues concerning the state of journalistic work and the union’s role over recent periods.
The meeting held at the ministry building aimed to foster better coordination and cooperation between the Journalists Union and the Ministry. This collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to the development of the journalistic profession while reinforcing media freedom and professional responsibility.
In an effort to emphasize the cultural and artistic significance in promoting national awareness and human values, Dr. Mustafa also met with intellectuals and artists from the Artists Syndicate, alongside professors and students from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. The dialogue centered on the pivotal role of art in society, particularly in the context of current events.
