The Ministry of Media has announced the 5th edition of the Media Excellence Award 2024. The award aims to celebrate outstanding creative media works presented on various national occasions, topics, and fields. It is presented in partnership with the Human Capability Development Program, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 realization programs.
The award honors institutions and individuals with significant media contributions in various fields and remarkable qualitative efforts. Submissions from institutions and individuals will be accepted from October 14 to November 28, 2024. Creators are invited to participate through the electronic platform awards.media.gov.sa, which receives submissions from both institutions and individuals.
The 5th edition of the Media Excellence Award includes ten tracks: photography, journalistic article, journalistic interview, creative video, television production, national song, radio, podcast, digital coverage of the Hajj season 1445 AH, and best influential account on social media pla
tforms. This year, the award emphasizes enhancing the values of national belonging, positivity, and resilience.
The award aims to stimulate media creativity among institutions and individuals, encourage participation in national media works, strengthen the creative sense among citizens and residents, and ignite the spirit of competition among creators. In addition to supporting national media products, it honors institutions and individuals for their contributions.
Last year, the Media Excellence Award received over 2,500 submissions across its various tracks, and several distinguished institutions and individuals were honored in the special honor track.
