Temperatures continue to rise to become from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be moderate between clear to partly cloudy in general, but it will be cold in the mountains at night.

The winds will be eastern to southeastern between low to moderate in speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/08, Homs 16/05, Hasaka 18/03 Aleppo 18/06 and Deir Ezzor 19/06.
