The death toll in the second day of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip had increased to 256 Palestinians so far, said the Health Ministry on Sunday.

Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, the ministry’s spokesman, said that there were 20 children amongst the deceased, adding that the number of those injured thus far had increased to 1,788.

Israel continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip targeting various facilities in Khan Yunis city southern Gaza.

The Israeli military told the press that it had attacked 426 targets in the Gaza Strip, claiming they were strongholds for Hamas fighters and leadership.

The occupation had toppled 10 tower complexes and eliminated several Palestinian resistance fighters in 29 locations.

Fighting between the Israeli military and Palestinian fighters continues in several illegal settlements.
