MURDERING OF TWO CHILDREN SHOCKS SYRIA’S NORTH

The crime of killing two children in Atimah camps in Northern Idlib countryside shocked people in the northern Syria’s regions held by al-Nusra organizations yesterday.

On Saturday, two children, “Nour Awad al-Hamoudi” and his cousin “Fatima Imad al-Hamoudi”, aging 3 years and 18 months respectively, were kidnapped by unknowns then throttled and left near their family house in “al-Wafa’a” camp in Atimah town.

The murderers attached a letter to the corpses threatening their families about the more to come without explaining the reasons behind that amid widespread public condemnation about the hideousness of the crime. The family said that they received another threatening message today asking them to leave Syria if they want to keep the lives of the rest family members.

The message also included a threat to a woman the murderers claimed that she saw them while they were throwing the corpses in the camp warning to kill her too in case she disclosed their identities. The locals angrily demanded to capture the murderers immediately.

That pushed al-Nusra militants, who are controlling the area, to move to absorb the public anger announcing about their endeavors to get to the doers before announcing today that they arrested a woman, who is said to have committed the crime, indicating that she confessed about killing her husband’s, Mohammad al-Hamoudi, brothers’ children and that they are still investigating with her to uncover the circumstances of the crime.

The locals of the regions held by al-Nusra in Idlib and in some of Aleppo countryside region are experiencing a state of security disorder and spread of crimes amid total deficiency of the militants to achieve some stability and securing the lives of people; rather they contribute in committing a great deal of those crimes.
