Human Rights Watch and the Syrian Legal Development Programme, a nongovernmental research and advocacy group that focuses on accountability for human rights abuses in Syria, have published a guide to assist UN agencies operating in Syria in applying human rights-compliant procurement practices after assessing that they fail to conduct robust human rights due diligence.
