NSSA to participate in Space Camp in Alabama

National Space Science Authority (NSSA) has completed preparations to participate in the International Space Camp, to be held by Kallman Worldwide in Alabama, USA this summer represented by a team of high school students.

The team consists of four students who have passed all the interviews and tests in coordination with Kallman Worldwide.

The last coordination meeting was held with the team was with Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, NSSA CEO and Amal Al Binali, Chief of Strategic Planning and Projects Management Department at NSSA and the team supervisor.

During the meeting, the students were provided with a set of guidelines regarding the Space Camp, and were urged to represent Bahrain well, especially when competing against other teams.

Dr. Al Aseeri said he was pleased to meet with this talented group of students who will act as ambassadors for their country and for all Arab countries during their participation in the Space Camp.

The team was selected in coordination with the Education Ministry and consists of academically outstanding students from schools in Bahrain who are active in extracurricular scientific, sports, technological and cultural activities.
