Number of people who leave Ghwairan neighborhood in Hasaka increases, pushed by QSD threats

The people of the southern neighborhoods in Hasaka city continue on Saturday to flee their homes to safe areas in the city center due to the clashes and chaos erupted in the areas surrounding the Industrial Secondary Prison, which are controlled by QSD militia and the US occupation forces.

SANA reporter said that the number of people who flee Ghwairan neighborhood in Hasaka has increased, pushed by QSD militia threats to leave their houses immediately, amid a state of chaos in the vicinity of the Industrial Secondary School Prison, which witnessed bombings and the escape of Daesh terrorists.

Head of Social Affairs and Labor Ibrahim Khala said in a statement to SANA reporter that the “Relief efforts for the locals are continued in light of ongoing the displacement movement from the southern neighborhoods, including Ghwairan, al-Nashwa, al-Zohour and youth housing in order to secure them through means of transportation and take them to their relatives or to temporary housing centers.
