OIC Strongly Condemns the Massacre Committed by the Israeli Occupation Forces in Gaza Strip

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the ongoing war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip. The most recent was the brutal massacre resulting from the targeting of tents of displaced Palestinians in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza Strip, which led to the death and injury of dozens of civilians, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, UN Security Council resolutions and the relevant International Court of Justice orders.

OIC emphasized that the international community’s inability to fulfill its obligations in enforcing justice and international law and resolutions has bolstered the culture of impunity among the Israeli occupier and worsened the humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip.

It called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities and impose an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, as well as take decisive measures to put an end to the Israeli occupation regime and the illegal colonial settlement in the occupied Palestinian terri
tory.
