ONE SYRIAN ARRESTED IN BEKAA FOR SUSPICIOUS LINKS TO TERRORIST GROUPS
The State Security arrested on Syrian (M.H.) in Bekaa for suspicious links to terrorist organizations, a communique by the agency indicated on Tuesday.
During the interrogation, the detainee confessed to leading terrorist “Ahfad Hamza” phalange, and to communicating with “Ahrar al-Sham” group in Syria’s northwestern city of Idlib.
M.H., born 1976, has illegally entered Lebanon in 2015, through border Shebaa town; he resided in the Zahle town of Majdal Anjar.
He is now held in custody by the Lebanese army’s Intelligence, upon the notice of the military prosecution.
