Operations of settling status of gunmen move to eastern and southeastern countryside in Daraa province

Operations of setting the status of gunmen, the wanted and the military deserters and handing over their weapons to the Syrian Arab Army, based on the settlement agreement proposed by the State last August, started in Nasib village near the Jordanian borders in Daraa province.

SANA reporter said Saturday that a number of gunmen, the wanted and the military deserters gathered at the settlement center that was opened today in Nasib village, southeast of Daraa city, to have their status settled and hand over their weapons to the Syrian Arab Army in implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the State.

Daraa province has witnessed during the last days similar settling operations starting from Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city and al-Yadoudeh village and Mzairib town, then in Tafas city, Tal Shahab town and the villages and towns of al-Yarmouk Basin in the northwestern countryside, and in the cities of Nawa , Jasem and al-Sanamin and their vicinity in the northern countryside, in parallel with the redeployment of units of the Syrian Arab army in the region to maintain security and stability and the return of normal life to the area.
