Opposition MPs Gather in Maarab to Address Lebanon’s Current Issues.


Maarab: Opposition MPs on Tuesday held a meeting at the Lebanese Forces headquarters in Maarab, chaired by LF leader Samir Geagea, to deliberate on Lebanon’s latest developments and key issues.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting saw participation from MPs across several political blocs. Present were members from the “Strong Republic” bloc, including Ghassan Hasbani, Fadi Karam, Antoine Habchi, and Camille Chamoun. The “Kataeb” bloc was represented by Salim Sayegh and Nadim Gemayel. The “Renewal” bloc included Ashraf Rifi, Fouad Makhzoumi, and Michel Moawad, while the “Change Alliance” bloc featured Waddah Sadek, Michel Doueihy, and Mark Daou. Additionally, independent MP Adib Abdel Massih was in attendance.

The gathering focused on examining the pressing local developments impacting Lebanon. The MPs aimed to discuss strategies and initiatives to address the ongoing challenges facing the nation. This meeting highlights the concerted efforts by opposition leaders to collaborate and seek
solutions amid Lebanon’s complex socio-political landscape.
