Vatican,- Patriarch John X Yajizi of Antioch and All the East for Rome Orthodox called for removing economic coercive measures imposed on the Syrian People.

The Patriarch, during a meeting with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See, appealed for intensifying the efforts to remove the unilateral US and EU sanctions imposed on Syria that affect the Syrians’ livelihood.

The talks also referred to the file of the two kidnapped patriarchs of Aleppo, who were abducted by the terrorist organizations since 8 years.
