The People’s Assembly approved on Tuesday the state’s general budget bill for year 2022 to become a law.

The parliament, during a session chaired by speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh, discussed items of the bill that specified the appropriations of the state’s general budget for the year 2022 to be a total amount of SYP 13.325 billion with a deficit of SYP 4118.

Later, the MPs discussed issues related to the citizens’ daily life, demanding to raise salaries and wages for state workers, reduce prices and focus on encouraging production.
