People’s Assembly concludes extraordinary session, discusses government statement

People’s Assembly on Wednesday concluded its exceptional session of the 3rd legislative term, headed by speaker, Hammoudah Sabbagh.

The session, which was held in the presence of Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous and the Ministers, revolved around the ministerial statement of the government that includes its work plan of the upcoming stage.

Premier Arnous stressed that the government spares no effort to rebuild what has been destructed by terrorism, and it has made reasonable progress in this domain and now it is working to secure the oil derivatives, saying that the need of fuel per day is about 8.5 million liters and 6 million liters of benzene.

He reiterated the need for working to improve the livelihood conditions , support the employees in addition to the citizens who need assistance, adding that part of the appropriations is allocated to the Labor and Social Affairs’ Ministry.

Arnous also stressed that the government is exerting efforts to fix the exchange price and offer facilitation to open banking accounts and encourage transforming into the E- government.

Prime Minister stressed that the administrative reform is one of the success keys in improving the administrative sector in all public authorities as work is underway to automate the government work.
