PM inspects “Housing for All Egyptians” project in Suez

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli inspected Saturday 13/11/2021 under-construction housing units in the “Housing for All Egyptians” in the Suez governorat’s Attaka neighborhood.

The project is expected to offer up to 25,000 housing units in the canal governorate, as part of a presidential initiative to improve provincial capitals, said Assistant Prime Minister Eng. Randa El-Minshawy, who is in charge of following up the project.

She added that three sites had been allocated for the first phase, and another two sites will also be dedicated for hospitals, mosques, and service areas.

The project is being carried out on three land plots measuring 193 feddans in total, under the supervision the Armed Forces Engineering Authority (AFEA).

Meanwhile, officials from the AFEA, who accompanied the prime minister during his tour, said that the 162 blocks at the first plot, which is 52.60 percent complete, will offer 3,796 housing units, providing decent housing for up 19,000 people.

In addition, the second plot buildings will provide housing for over 18,000 people in 3,720 units, while the third plot is expected to provide decent housing for as many as 28,700 people, the officials added.
