PM: Presidential decree to establish New Suez City

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the government is working on surpassing challenges facing the establishment of several projects in Suez governorate including sewage, developing roads and chorniche as well as industrial development and providing job opportunities for youth.

This came during his inspection tour in Suez governorate in which he visited a number of development and services projects. He was accompanied by Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Local Development Minister Mahmoud Sharaawy, Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar, Transportation Minister Kamel el Wazir, Suez Governor Abdel Megid Saqr and a number of the governorate’s leaders.

The premier added that the government had also accepted calls to establish a new city to serve Suez residents, noting that a presidential decree was issued to establish the New Suez City.

Madbouli also met a number of Suez members of parliament in which he pointed out at the continuous coordination between the government and Senate and Parliament members in order to accelerate the implementation of various projects in the governorate as well as approving the bills related in order to serve the state’s national plan.

The lawmakers hailed the premier’s visit to the governorate, noting that such visits push forward work in all service and development projects in the governorate.
