Some 258 producers specialized in small and handicrafts industries participated in the exhibition and distributed in 107 pavilions to display their products of food, clothing, leather, handmade, furniture, engineering industries and others in “Producers” Exhibition in the activities of its 2nd edition.

The Exhibition, which kicked off on Wednesday in Khan Al-Shuna in the old city of Aleppo, lasts till 20th of the current month.

Minister of Industry Ziyad Sabbagh told the Journalist in a statement that those young or junior producers lead the process of reviving, reactivating the industry, so that Syrian position remains strong as the industry is the pillar of growth.

For his part, Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Minister Amr Salem pointed out that the ministry follow up and cooperated with the producers through the Syrian Trading Company.

SANA’s camera toured the exhibition and met a number of producers who stressed that the Exhibition constitutes an important opportunity to marketing their production, hailing the large turnout that the exhibition is witnessing, particularly that it was hosted by the archeological Khan al-Shuna building.

The first edition of the Producers exhibition was kicked off last November in 2020 in Takiyya al-Sulaymaniyya in Damascus .
