Busra al-Sham: In a strategic move to bolster security efforts in Daraa Governorate’s eastern countryside, the Public Security Department has inaugurated a new branch in the city of Busra al-Sham. This development is part of a broader initiative to better organize and expand the department’s influence and effectiveness in the region.

According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the newly established branch is housed in the former customs building. The setup process is currently underway and will incorporate two detachments from neighboring towns in eastern Daraa under its jurisdiction. Efforts are also being made to ensure that personnel for the branch and its associated detachments are selected from the local towns of the eastern region, thereby enhancing community involvement and trust in the security operations.
