Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa on Friday described Islam as the religion of humanity and noble morals.

In the Friday sermon he delivered at a Sharqia mosque, the minister valued consolation as one of the highest good manners.

The values of tolerance are rooted in our religion and civilization, he added.

Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam, Governor of Sharqia Mamdouh Ghorab, and senior local officials attended the sermon.
