Riachy continues his visit to Montreal, meets Minister of Immigration

Information Minister, Melhem Riachy, said that “the Christian reconciliation is not exclusive for Christians, stressing that going to the past is a red line.”

He confirmed that the reconciliation happened in a bid to extend the hand to all the parties.

His remarks came during a reception held by Consul Fadi Ziade in Montreal to honor Riachy.

On the other hand, Riachy met with the Minister of Immigration, Kathleen Weil, and tackled the possible arrangement of a direct flight from Beirut to Canada as well as the issue of the Syrian refugees issue in Lebanon.
