Russian Air Defenses Shoot Down 22 Ukrainian Drones Over Multiple Provinces.

Moscow: Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that air defense systems successfully destroyed 22 Ukrainian drones over various Russian provinces. ‘Attempts by the Kiev regime forces to carry out terrorist attacks using drones against targets on Russian territory were repelled,’ the ministry stated.

According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the air defense systems on duty effectively neutralized 10 drones over Rostov Oblast, 7 over Belgorod Oblast, 2 over Voronezh Oblast, and one each over Kursk, Bryansk, and Smolensk Oblasts. The ministry’s statement, as reported by Sputnik, highlighted the ongoing challenge posed by these aerial incursions.

On a daily basis, Kiev regime forces target Russian border areas with drones and missiles, leading to numerous civilian casualties. The continued tension underscores the volatile security situation in the region, as both sides engage in persistent military confrontations.
