Russian Defense Ministry: terrorists turned all of Aleppo’s schools and hospitals into ammunition depots or missile-making workshops
Moscow, SANA-Russian Defense Ministry affirmed that terrorists in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo turned all of Aleppo’s schools and hospitals into ammunition depots or missile-making workshops.
The inspections carried out by Russian mine clearance specialists from the International Anti-Mine Center in the eastern outskirts of Aleppo did not reveal a single school or hospital, which had been functioning for the true purposes they were built under the terrorists. All of them were used as headquarters, Sharia courts, terrorist rallying points, ammunition depots and underground production centers for manufacturing homemade rockets, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.
Konashenkov denied the allegations about 250,000 civilians remaining under siege in the city of Aleppo.
In the eastern districts, the terrorists held hostage more than 100,000 civilians as a human shield. At the very first opportunity they left that enclave and moved to the Syrian government-controlled districts for safety, real aid and food, he pointed out.
He described the wailing of the British and French politicians as nonsense hostile to Russia, pointing out that special shooting teams formed by terrorists have fabricated movies about alleged the Russian bombardments and summary executions by the Syrian army.
He called on media outlets to not fall for terrorists’ propaganda, pointing out that civilians who came out of the eastern neighborhoods confirmed that the terrorists were practicing various types of terrorism.
About the efforts to deliver aid to relief residents of Aleppo, Konashenkov said that Western countries and international humanitarian organizations have not provided the promised humanitarian assistance to Aleppo’s residents.
