Damascus, Under the title of “With all love from Russia “the Russian-Syrian Business Council held on Sunday in cooperation with Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry an event, in which food baskets were distributed to about one thousand  families in  need in province of Damascus countryside.

A number of citizens who received the aid affirmed the importance of charitable events organized by Russian-Syrian Business Council to support the needed people and stand by them particularly in the light of unjust siege imposed on Syria .

Governor of Damascus Countryside, Eng. Moatez Abu Al-Nasr Jamran affirmed the interest of province to support charitable initiatives and providing all necessary to help citizens in their livelihood.

He noted that the charitable events will continue  during the coming year in cooperation with several authorities in addition to invest any work which will improve from citizen living situation .    Chairman of the Council, Dr.Louay Youssef said in a statement to SANA  that this activity was the eight which implemented during this year in Damascus countryside ,saying that this event will continue for three days  to include all families .

Youssef stressed that Russian people look in respect and appreciation to Syrian people and believe that it is their duty to stand by them in these difficult circumstances resulting from the unjust war and unjust economic blockade.
