SDAIA Continues Efforts as Makkah Route Initiative Digital Enabler in Pakistan

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is continuing its efforts as a digital enabler for the Makkah Route initiative, which is implemented in seven countries, including the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, for the year 1444 AH.

The Makkah Route initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Interior within the Pilgrim Experience Program, as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

SDAIA, represented by the National Information Center, has worked on activating the relevant technical systems through direct supervision of preparing the technical infrastructure at the pilgrim hall in the airport of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

SDAIA is implementing the relevant infrastructure at the Pakistani airport in accordance with the highest accredited international standards and specifications.

The authority’s work includes connecting, activating, and operating more than 10 workstations supported by cutting-edge technologies linked to the National Information Center.

Such technologies facilitate the completion of pilgrims’ procedures in record time in the presence of a technical team from SDAIA.

The authority’s team comprises Saudi engineers, who work around the clock to provide full technical support for systems and workstations throughout the duration of the initiative.

These efforts come within SADAIA’s endeavors to secure the forward-looking capabilities and endorse them with continuous artificial intelligence (AI) innovation.

SDAIA also works to utilize these capabilities in serving state’s sectors and backing digital transformation in order to provide the best services.

Moreover, the authority also works to enhance cooperation between state sectors with the aim of achieving the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, including by serving the pilgrims, the guests of Allah.
