Children Suleiman Saeed al-Khadr, Ismail al-Ghadban, and Mohammad al-Gharqan, aged 15, 14, and 13 respectively, from Deir Hafer, eastern suburbs of Aleppo, they were abducted on November 7, 2022, by the SDF’s al-Shabiba al-Thawriya ‘’Joanne Schurchkar’ (Revolutionary Youth) from their place of residence in Manbej al-Sharqi IDP camp, near Manbej city in eastern Aleppo governorate for the purpose of conscription. They were taken to an SDF recruitment center.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights notes that their families were not notified of what had happened to them. They were not allowed to contact or visit them. We have concerns that he will be thrust into direct and indirect military acts.

It should be noted that roughly 213 children are currently conscripted in SDF military training camps.
