SEVEN KILLED IN BUS BLAST IN SYRIA’S HOMS CITY
DAMASCUS, Syria, At least seven people were killed and eight others wounded, on Tuesday, when an explosive device ripped through a communal bus, in the central city of Homs.
The explosive device was planted in the bus, that exploded in the Ekrima neighbourhood, in Homs.
The same neighbourhood was targeted several times by car bombs and explosive devices.
The Ekrima neighbourhood is inhabited by pro-government people.
The former rebel-held areas in Homs city, were liberated by the army, but the rebels still have positions in the countryside.
The explosion comes at a time, when the government delegation and the oppositions are taking part in the Syrian talks in Geneva.
The talks are still ongoing, but achieved no progress, amid tense atmosphere, following the opposition demand for President Bashar al-Assad to step down.
Also, the government delegation sent signals that, it would withdraw from the talks.
