Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received the newly appointed Bahraini Ambassador to Syria Waheed Mubarak Sayyar.
The chairman congratulated the ambassador on obtaining the royal trust and wished him success in performing his new duties.
Al Saleh valued the contributions of Bahraini ambassadors and diplomats, and their continued keenness to consolidate relations that unite the Kingdom with other countries.
Sayyar expressed his appreciation to the Shura Council for its national role and legislative responsibility to strengthen cooperation by approving agreements and joint treaties.
