Shura Council Speaker participates in 49th meeting of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in Rome

Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh will participate in the 49th meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), which is scheduled in Rome, Italy, on June 4-8.

Al Al-Sheikh said that the Kingdom, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, plays important roles in various regional and international issues, and this makes it incumbent on the Shura Council to double its efforts to support these roles and to harness parliamentary diplomacy for the good of the country and its people.

He stressed that the participation in the Rome meeting is testimony to the important role played by the Shura Council in stimulating constructive work of parliaments of friendly countries, and in building bridges of friendship and cooperation in a way that enriches parliamentary work and helps achieve cooperation toward balanced relations, based on dialogue that creates the prospect of a world with a bright future.
