Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, has called for finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria.

“All sides have consensus that solution to the crisis in Syria must be political in accordance with UN resolution No.2254,” Safadi said in TV interview on Friday.

He affirmed importance of having an Arab role with the efforts exerted to reach a political solution to the crisis, a role that helps create stability of Syria and the whole region.

UN Security Council Resolution No.2254 of 2015 stipulates that the Syrians are the only ones who determine their country’s future without any external intervention.
