Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy met Monday with managing director of TotalEnergies to discuss preparations made by Egypt to host the Africa Cup of Nations 2022.

Egypt is willing to host the event and organize a world-level ceremony on its land, Sobhy said.

Egypt has all the needed sports potentials, including facilities and human cadres, to organize the big event, the minister assured.

He added that Egypt has gained global trust in its ability to host sports tournaments and has already proved it to be true.
