Damascus: Minister of Endowments (Awqaf) Dr. Mohammad Abu al-Khair Shukri engaged in discussions with Mr. Elnur Shahhuseynov, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Azerbaijan Republic in Damascus, focusing on strengthening cooperation in Islamic affairs and religious endowments. The talks aim to deepen the fraternal ties between the two nations.

According to Syrian Arab News Agency, Mr. Shahhuseynov emphasized the Azerbaijani leadership’s enthusiasm for increased coordination and communication on matters of shared interest between Syria and Azerbaijan.
