Syria and UNRWA Collaborate on Enhancing Future Projects and Plans


Damascus: Syrian Minister of Social Affairs and Labor in the caretaker government, Fadi al-Qassem, engaged in discussions with Amanya Michael Ebye, the Director of UNRWA Affairs in Syria, focusing on the organization’s work in the country and its future projects.



According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the meeting also examined the facilities and centers that UNRWA aims to activate, addressing the challenges it encounters and strategies to facilitate its tasks. The discussions aimed at developing projects that will improve the services provided.



During the discussions, emphasis was placed on emergency programs and the restoration of damaged UNRWA centers. The agency supervises 102 schools, 27 primary care centers, and 12 community centers, and it contributes to the graduation of 300 vocational training students annually.
