Tehran, SANA-The Iranian Radio and Television Corporation in Tehran held the first conference to honor the martyrs of the resistance media, with the participation of delegations from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Yemen, Afghanistan and Iran, under the auspices of the Iranian Martyr Foundation and the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union (IRTVU).

Addressing the Conference, the commander of the al-Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Brigadier General Ismail Qaani, stressed that the martyrs of the media played an important role in the battlefields alongside the armed forces and conveyed the facts that the enemies have always tried to distort , stressing the importance of the role of the media in strengthening and supporting the issues of the axis of resistance.

Speaking at the conference, in turn, Assistant Minister of Information Ahmed Dawa considered that this honor is an appreciation of the value of martyrdom, stressing the need to strengthen cooperation among the resistance media outlets to expose the lies and Western media propaganda aimed at changing the facts in the region.

Dawa thanked the Iranian people and all the peoples who took the initiative and provided humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people after the devastating earthquake that hit Syria recently.
