28 new coronavirus cases, 118 recoveries and 3 deaths were recorded in Syria on Wednesday, according to a statement by the Health Ministry.

The statement showed that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached up to 50,580, of which 33,956 have recovered, while 2,936 have passed away.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Syria on March 22nd, 2020.
