Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) stormed al Tayana al Gharbiya al Muhdatha Elementary School during school hours, in al Tayana village of Theyban town in eastern Deir Ez-Zour governorate on October 10, 2022. The SDF seized control of the school, kicking out the teachers and students, and turned it into a military base.

SNHR condemns the SDF’s forced seizure of vital facilities and turning them into military points and bases.
