AMMAN, Dec 26 (NNN-KUNA) — Several Free Syrian Army factions have refused to attend a conference on Syria scheduled in Russia next month, accusing Moscow of committing war crimes against Syrian civilians.

The conference, due to be held in the Black Sea resort of Sochi on January 29 and 30, aims to “evade Geneva negotiations and international resolutions related to resolving the Syrian crisis,” said a total 37 factions in a statement.

They said Russia supported the regime of Bashar Al-Assad “militarily” and “politically” over seven years, and prevented United Nations condemnation of the Syrian president’s actions.
