Damascus, SANA-11 different medals were gained by Syrian table tennis team which returned home after participating in the Arab competition been hosted in the Jordanian capital of Amman.

Four gold medals and four silver ones in addition to three others bronze were won after strong competitions carried out by heroes of the Syrian team which drew the attention of the game’s experts and supervisors on the Arab level.

Upon receiving the team, Head of the Table Tennis Federation , Bassam Khalil, said in a statement to SANA that the Syrian team showed excellent performance, competing strong teams such as Tunisian and Egyptian counterparts , and excelled upon them , especially in the two categories of U13 and U11, describing the Syrian performance as a significant achievement.
